The Trees: English poem by Huzaifa Zeeshan
The Trees: English poem by Huzaifa Zeeshan
The trees look more in despair
They bend forwards, and their
Leaves fall,
When you sit beside their trunks,
And put on those earrings.
My life dangles with them,
The sunlight caresses you
You cheeks now turn red.
You look at me and smile,
I want to cry.
I ask the wind to
Comb your charcoal hair,
But the wind says to me,
The time is short
And your hair is too long.
