Nigehbaan – Urdu Poem by Zia Jilandhari

Zia Jalandhari was an eminent Urdu poet, who did his MA in English Literature from GCU Lahore [then GC Lahore]. He worked as MD of Pakistan TV and also was a renowned civil servant. He was awarded ‘The pride of performance’, Pakistan’s highest award for Performing Art.

Zia Jalandhari contributed this beautiful poem ‘Nigehbaan’ to his alma mater GCU Lahore in 2001 for The Ravi, two years before his death.
