جوتا

ہجوم نے رخ بدلا اور سر گنگا رام کے بت پی پل پڑا. لاٹھیاں برسائیں گیئں،اینٹیں اور پتھر پھینکے گئے . ایک نے منھ پر تارکول مل دیا. دوسرے نے بہت سے پرانے جوتے جمع کیے اور ان کا ہار بنا کر بت کے گلے میں ڈالنے کے لیے آگے بڑھا. مگر پولیس آگیی اور گولیاں چلنا شروع ہو گییں. جوتوں کے ہار پہنانے والا زخمی ہو گیا . چناچہ مرہم پٹی کے لئے اسے سر گنگا رام ہسپتال بھیج دیا گیا

The agitated crowd changed their direction and attached the statue of Sir Ganga Raam. They start hitting it with batons, and throwing bricks and pebbles on it. Another protestor rubbed charcoal all over statue’s face.

Another protestor gathered lots of of shoes and made a garland of them. As he tried to put it around neck of Sir Ganga Raam, police arrived on the scene and dispersed the crowd using rubber bullets.

The person with shoe garland was injured and was sent him to ‘Sir Ganga Raam Hospital’!
