Dance of Senses: Poem by Sobia Awan

Dance of Senses: Poem by Sobia Awan

It was a dance of senses
A symphony of the souls,
A rhythm of existence
A treasure of whole.
A fit fervent, a sacred embrace,
A tale of twain with nature’s grace.
There came a bit accompanied with grief,
Fading the glory lasted brief.
But turned fast the fatal blow,
Which shattered the solemn vow.
That heavenly abode ah! we lost,
Once made by noble hearts.
So profound are the bruises of hurt,
Of agony, of pain of depart.
Yet I own thee my honor,
I love thee, thou mine ever.
