Changing World: English poem by Manzar Latif [Azad Kashmir]

The world is developing rapidly.
Some people in this rapidly changing
time have forgotten to live
life in the original way.
Life is a game of emotions.
Realizing that is the real life.
I wish I could be detached from the
world and spend the evenings at
river bank with the birds of the forest.
I understand their language.
i Want Talk to them.
I want to understand the meaning of
the silence of the river in the evening.
Maybe the river is in trouble too.
I regret the fate of those people
who can’t see this beautiful view of the evening.
When the birds are
talking to each other.
When the river is
singing the evening song.
When the sun is
saying goodbye to us.
You can’t see them all.
Listen, successful man,
you are a failure.
